Pearls
The Pearl is the official birthstone of the month of June. A pearl is a byproduct of an oyster’s defense mechanism – when a foreign irritant enters the pearl, it is immediately surrounded by layers of substance called nacre. This forms the beautiful gemstone known as the pearl.
The pearl comes in a variety of colors, although the classic white is the most popular. The larger, rounder, and the higher the luster, the more valuable. They are the accepted gemstone for the 3rd and 30th wedding anniversaries, symbolize a happy marriage, and are also a symbol of modest, chastity, and purity.
Pearls should be handled with care – never use an ultrasonic cleaner, and avoid household chemicals, cosmetics, and perfumes.

Rush Hour Karting in Garner is an indoor go-karting facility that caters to any group size whether you’re going for a date night or doing a large birthday party. Their European-designed karts go up to 40 MPH and the track spans 1/3 mile, and is full of hair pin curves, high speed straights, and winding turns!
